Bally’s Intralot Group includes a number of different legal entities across the world and the location of our employees often determines which entity within the Group is the “Controller” of personal data. The name of the specific legal entity will be available to you when you apply for a role with us.

1. Our Data Protection Commitment

Welcome to the Bally’s Intralot Careers Website. When you apply for a job on the Careers Website, the personal data contained in your application will be collected by us and this Privacy Notice sets how we collect, use, and look after your personal data when you access this site and informs you about your privacy rights. We respect your privacy and are committed to the protection of your personal data when you use our Careers Website and submit your candidate application to us. Will process your personal data responsibly and in compliance with the respective data protection laws. In this respect, we have invested into our data protection practices and you can read more information about our data protection commitment in our Privacy Mission Statement.

2. What does this Notice cover?

In this Notice, you will find the following information:

3. What personal data do we collect about you? 3.1. Information you directly provide to us. When you apply for a role on our Careers Website, we offer you the choice to apply through our online application form or via job boards such as LinkedIn. When you apply via our online application form, we will collect the following information: Mandatory fields: First name, last name, email address, resume/cv. Optional fields: Phone number, Cover letter, information about your LinkedIn profile, your website if any, your salary expectations.

If you chose to apply via a job board such as LinkedIn you will be required to sign into your profile with your personal credentials and your personal data will be collected by the job board site who are third-party service providers to us. These job boards may be acting as a data controller in their own right and we recommend you read their privacy notices to understand their data practices. Once your application is processed and in respect of our recruitment process, we may ask you to provide the following information: right to work, identity documentation, and references. We may also indirectly collect links to your personal profiles available in the public domain if you choose to provide such information to us as part of your application, for example a piece of work you have authored and published online which contains a link to your profile. We may indirectly receive limited special categories of personal data such as your gender identity, racial or ethnic origin if you choose to include such information in your CV, and discernible and undiscernible impairments and disabilities brought to our attention for the purpose of assisting you with an interview. You may be invited to attend interviews meetings by phone or video conference systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams), we do not record your voice or image for the purpose of these interviews. 3.2. Information we collect through your device. We collect the following information from your device when you connect to our Careers Website: information about your device’s hardware and software, use of the Website, traffic information, IP address, time of access, date of access, web page(s) visited, language(s) used, software crash reports, device information including the unique device identifier. 3.3. Information we collect through cookies. We collect information using cookies to protect our Careers Website, offer you a personalised experience with us, and improve our Website. For more information about the cookies we use and how to manage your cookie preferences please see our Cookie Policy. 3.4 Information we collect from third parties. Before we make an offer of employment, we may also collect results of pre-employment screening checks for certain roles in certain jurisdictions based on the obligations conferred upon us by applicable legislations and regulations. 3.5 Information we collect from publicly available sources. Where we are permitted by law, we collect information about you through publicly available recourses with professional relevance. We use the following public sources: job boards that you have registered your details on. Online curriculum vitae libraries, by reference or word of mouth (for example you may be recommended by a friend, a former employer, a former colleague or even a prevent employer or we may get a reference from your previous employer, or a named referee included on your curriculum vitae]. 4. How and why we use your personal data? We use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • so that we can process your job application made via our Careers Website and manage our recruitment process by engaging with interested candidates. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of managing the recruitment related activities of Bally’s Corporation, which include setting up and conducting interviews and tests for applicants, pre-employment screening, evaluating, and assessing the results accordingly, and as is otherwise needed in the recruitment and hiring processes.

  • provide you information about other job vacancies where you have agreed to hear from us.

  • maintain our business relationship where you are a user of our Careers Website.

  • analyse visitor trends and traffic on our Careers Website – this information does not identify you individually – and ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device to provide good candidate experience (see section 3.2 and 3.3 above).

  • to keep our site safe and secure.

  • to notify you about the changes to this Notice.

  • to carry out satisfaction surveys.

  • to comply with our legal obligations and rights, under contracts and at law, and to cooperate with authorities and investigations as required.

5. What legal basis do we have for using your information? We will only use your Personal Data as permitted by law. Most commonly, we will use your Personal Data in the following circumstances:

  • To perform the contract, we are about to enter into or have entered into with you

  • For our legitimate interests (or those of a third party), provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override those legitimate interests

  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation

  • Where you have consented to our use of your personal data

6. How long do we keep your personal data for? Your personal data will be retained by us for up to 12 months from the date the process for your most recent application closes. 7. Who do we share your personal data with? We may share your information with the following categories of third parties, who may be controllers or processors in respect of your Personal Data, for the purposes explained in section 4 above: 7.1. Sharing your personal data within our group. Your Personal Data will be disclosed to companies within our group in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the terms of this Notice for the purposes set out in section 4 above. 7.2. Sharing your personal data with our service providers, for example, agencies which carry out pre-employment checks on our behalf or the hosting of our recruitment website and our professional advisors. 8. How do we keep your personal data safe? We have appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered, or disclosed. Where appropriate, we employ encryption, and anonymisation solutions to reduce the impact that security incident may have to your personal data. Although, the nature of the internet means that transmission of information may not be totally secured, we have deployed encryption of data in transit to protect the transmission of your Personal Data when you use our Careers Website. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. Managing security incidents relating to Personal Data: We have procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. If you have any reason to believe that your personal data may no longer be safe, please contact careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com. 9. Where we transfer your personal data We are a global organisation who uses service providers in many different locations. This means that when you apply for a role with us, your personal data may be transferred to locations that don’t have a common standard of legal protection for your personal data. We may transfer your data if:

  • The role you have applied for is located in one of our businesses outside of the UK or EEA

  • We have a legal or regulatory reason to do so.

  • We use third parties service providers located in different jurisdictions to where you are applying from (as highlighted above); or

  • The way we operate our business requires us to transfer your data to other companies within our Group.

Please be aware however, that we will take steps to protect your personal data and ensure that any such transfer meets local legal requirements in this regard. For example:

  • We will transfer your personal data to countries where this is permitted by an adequacy ruling by the relevant regulator(s).

  • We may contract with the service provider on terms that are approved by the relevant regulator(s).

Your rights Depending on where you are located, the law may give you legal rights in respect of the personal information we hold about you. Where these rights exist, you can exercise these for free except where this Notice states otherwise. We may need to request specific Personal Data from you from time to time to help us confirm your identity and ensure your rights. This is a security measure to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response. We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within any mandatory time limit. Occasionally it may take us longer if your request is particularly complex or you have made several requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated. Below is a summary of typical legal rights you have, what we do to protect them and how you can exercise them:

  • Your right to access your Personal Data

    • You have the right to access and receive a copy of your Personal Data.

    • You can request access to your Personal Data by email to Privacyoffice@Ballys.com. You will not have to pay a fee to access your Personal Data unless your request is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

  • Your right to correct your Personal Data

    • You have the right to request correction of the Personal Data we hold about you.

    • You can amend, correct, delete, or edit your personal data about your candidate application. If you wish to correct other Personal Data, please contact careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com.

  • Your right to erase your Personal Data

    • You have the right to request erasure of your Personal Data. Please note, that we may not always be able to comply with your request for erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

    • You can request erasure of your Personal Data by contacting careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com.

  • Your right to object to processing your Personal Data

    • You have the right to object to processing of your Personal Data, including for marketing purposes. Please note that in some cases, we may demonstrate that we have legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.

    • You can object to processing of your Personal Data by contacting us at careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com. Please see our contact details here. Your objection may take up to 96 hours to take effect. Once you have objected you can change your mind at any time by contacting us again. Your account will not be accessible while the restriction is in place.

  • Your right to request a restriction to the processing of your Personal Data

    • You have the right to request a restriction of processing of your Personal Data (Such as right to prevent the sale of data in the USA) but in certain cases, we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

    • You can request the restriction of processing of your Personal Data by contacting us at careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com. Once you have requested this you can change your mind at any time by contacting us again. Your job application will not be processed while the restriction is in place.

  • Your right to request the transfer of your Personal Data to you or to a third party

    • You have the right to request the transfer of your Personal Data to you or to a third party. We will provide to you your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.

    • You can request the transfer of your Personal Data to a third party by email to careers@ballysintralotsa.recruitee.com. The request must include which data you would like to be transferred, to whom it should be transferred and by which method.

  • Your right to complain to the regulator

    • If you are unhappy with our response to your query, you have the right to contact your applicable data protection regulator to raise a complaint.

    • To exercise your right to complain to the regulator, please contact your national data protection regulator.

  • Your right to withdraw consent

    • You can decide to withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time and for free.
