Job description
As a Senior Tax Compliance Professional, you will be responsible for all aspects of Greek tax compliance for Bally’s Intralot SA and its Greek subsidiaries and will play a key role in supporting the Group Tax function across a range of cross-border matters. You will work closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders, while also contributing to tax provisions and financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end Greek tax compliance for Bally’s Intralot SA and its Greek subsidiaries, including the preparation and timely submission of corporate income tax (CIT), VAT, withholding tax (WHT), stamp duty, and other Greek statutory filings.
Provide input to the Group Tax team on Greek and cross-border matters where Greek entities are involved across a range of jurisdictions, as required.
Liaise with tax auditors and provide the necessary documentation and data in the context of the annual tax certificate process of Bally’s Intralot SA.
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions in the context of the Group’s financial statements, including current and deferred tax calculations and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
Operate as part of a geographically distributed Group Tax function, working closely with colleagues across the business to champion the Group’s tax risk management policy, deliver international tax compliance, and support a strong quarterly tax accounting process.
Support the implementation of the Group’s Transfer Pricing Policy and coordinate with external advisors on transfer pricing documentation and compliance filings.
Key Challenges:
Managing tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions with varying regulatory frameworks and deadlines.
Keeping pace with evolving tax legislation and ensuring timely adoption of changes across the Group’s compliance processes.
Job requirements
What You Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field would be considered a plus.
Postgraduate at Taxation will be highly regarded.
2-5 years of experience in tax compliance. Prior experience in a multinational company or abroad will be considered a strong advantage.
Fluency in English and Greek.
Proficiency with tools like Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP System.
Κnowledge of international tax compliance, corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing concepts.
An international profile is highly valued: candidates with experience working across multiple jurisdictions, in a multinational environment, or having studied or worked abroad are strongly encouraged to apply.
