Job description
To meet our current corporate needs, we are looking to bring to our team a Network Engineer (Customer ICT)
Your role: As a Network Engineer at Bally’s Intralot you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced (3rd level) technical support for Bally’s Intralot global projects, addressing network-related issues both remotely and on-site.
More specifically, some of your main tasks will be:
Network Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor and maintain network-related equipment across all sites, responding promptly to alerts and outages
Contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions while enhancing the resilience of current network environments.
Establish and manage network environments by designing system configurations, directing system installations, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Optimizing Network Performance
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance metrics, troubleshooting network issues and outages, and scheduling and implementing upgrades.
Collaborate with network architects on optimization initiatives and configure routing, switching, and load-balancing devices.
Upgrade network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
Documentation and Housekeeping
Implement and coordinate housekeeping activities
Maintain updated network documentation and designs.
Job requirements
Your profile should include:
• A University or College Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Systems, or a related technology field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Network Security Solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto).
• Load Balancing/Application Delivery (Citrix ADCs, F5 Big-IP).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is preferred.
• Cisco: CCNA (required)
• CheckPoint: CCSA
• Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Flexibility to travel abroad to customer locations if needed.
