       To excel in this role, you should:

  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree desirable.

  • Possess 2–3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related fields. Proven experience managing corporate events is highly beneficial.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, internal departments, and leadership teams.

  • Demonstrate project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Be able to conceptualize and implement creative event themes and layouts that align with corporate branding and company culture. Proficiency in MS Office and event management software; experience with procurement platforms such as eRequester is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated self-management skills with the ability to independently manage daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency with computers, digital tools, and software required for event planning, reporting, and procurement.

  • Understanding of cost drivers and ability to manage budgets responsibly.

  • Ability to create, submit, and manage purchase orders and payment requests using eRequester or similar procurement systems.

  • Skilled in researching, interviewing, and negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and meet specification requirements.

  • Ability to interpret and apply company rules, policies, and standards.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make quick, effective decisions.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute work independently while supporting companywide cultural initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

   Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Marketing, performs the following duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned but limited to the following:

      Event Planning & Corporate Engagement

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event plans aligned with company goals, budgets, and brand standards. Select venues, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics including catering, décor, AV, transportation, and attendee management.

  • Oversee on-site event operations to ensure seamless execution and immediate issue resolution. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and service partners.

  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

  • Ensure cost-effective decision making and adherence to procurement standards.

     Procurement & Payment Administration

  • Serve as the primary owner of all eRequester procurement and payment processes, including:

  • Creating and submitting purchase orders

  • Managing approvals and workflows

  • Processing invoices and coordinating with Finance for timely payments

  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and audit requirements

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and support cross-departmental financial transparency.

    Intralot Cares Program Leadership

  • Serve as the program owner and coordinator for the Intralot Cares community outreach initiative.

  • Maintain an annual calendar of outreach activities including volunteer events, workshops, school initiatives, and community appearances.

  • Lead ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s culture of giving, service, and employee engagement.

  • Develop partnerships with community organizations supporting education, wellness, and social impact.

  • Track, measure, and report outreach performance and participation.

   Community Engagement & Culture Development

  • Support the company’s cultural evolution by helping create inclusive, meaningful employee experiences through events, volunteering, and internal activities.

  • Train, support, and coordinate team captains involved in community events and outreach efforts.

  • Assist in preparing annual outreach budgets and reporting impact metrics.

  • Conduct educational workshops on topics such as financial literacy, community resources, and health awareness.

  • Provide regular feedback and recommendations to leadership on culture-building initiatives and community responsibility efforts.

  Travel

  • Some travel may be required
